Kirana Megatara Group is a world class corporation and the leading group of rubber processors in Indonesia. Established under the name PT Kirana Megatara in 1991 as a holding company, and now has 15 subsidiaries of crumb rubber processor companies spread across several regions in Sumatra and Kalimantan. The oldest processor, PT Djambi Waras was established on 27 October 1964, and recently joined the new factory of PT Bintang Agung Persada, in 2019 and the inauguration of the new factory of PT Komering Jaya Perdana in the Terbanggi area in the end of 2020. Plantation subsidiary added to the Group in 2011 with a total planted area of ??3,679 hectares in a land bank capacity of 10,000 hectares.

Kirana Megatara was listed as a public company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on 19 June 2017, with a total annual capacity of approximately 720,000 metric tons, which produces rubber of the type SIR-10, SIR-20, and SIR-20 CV. Most of these products are exported to global tire companies, including Bridgestone, Michelin, GoodYear, Pirelli, Continental, Sumitomo, Toyo Tires, Yokohama, Hankook, Kumho, Nexen, Cooper, Apollo, and international traders, such as R1 International. The domestic market is distributed to the Gajah Tunggal tire factory as the main customer.


Kirana Megatara highly upholds product quality and customer satisfaction as its top priorities. All products meet the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and have also received ISO 9001: 2015 certification for quality management systems, and recently ISO 14001: 2015 for their environmental management systems.
