All operations at the processing sites are managed in compliance with national environmental laws and regulations. Our 14001 environmental certification is a reflection of our efforts to preserve the environment. These efforts include activities in the usual areas of waste management, water use conservation, air pollution control, careful use of chemicals, and taking advantage of renewable energy sources.
We are also committed to prevent deforestation, discourage peatland exploitation, and for the preservation of biodiversity.
