
Kirana Megatara Group (KMG) was ranked 5th out of 30 global natural rubber companies in the 2025 Sustainable Policy Transparency Toolkit (SPOTT)’s ESG Policy Transparency Assessment, released online on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025. KMG achieved a score of 64.1%, which increased from 61.2% in 2024, when it was in 8th place.
SPOTT is a free, online platform assessing commodity producers, processors, and traders on their public disclosure regarding their organization, policies, and practices related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, initiated by The Zoological Society of London (ZSL), a UK-based non-profit organization focused on sustainability. With over 100 assessment indicators related to environmental, social, and governance issues, SPOTT annually assesses approximately 30 natural rubber companies worldwide based on publicly available information.
As part of the company's commitment to sustainability and information transparency, KMG regularly participates in this voluntary assessment. Since Kirana Megatara Sustainable Natural Rubber Policy was introduced in December 2022, KMG's sustainability progress has demonstrated a positive trend, as seen by a significant improvement in ranking and score in the SPOTT assessment year by year.
