Indragiri Hulu – PT Tirta Sari Surya welcomed auditors from Pirelli for a two-day visit on October 1-2, 2025. This audit was a VDA 6.3 audit, an international standard used to assess the effectiveness of process systems in the automotive industry and its components. As one of PT Tirta Sari Surya's customers, Pirelli has the right to know the implementation of quality standards throughout the entire supply chain. Therefore, the company not only focuses on the quality of rubber products but also on the quality of other non-rubber raw materials.

At the opening of this audit, Mr. Bambang Agus Purwanto, as the Operational Director of PT Tirta Sari Surya, stated, “All departments must support the success of this audit process, either by ensuring the document requirements or data in the field can be fulfilled properly.” Then, the audit began with document checking and followed by a field visit.

Pirelli auditor, Mr. Zaenal Mutaqin, conducted a comprehensive assessment of the process management system at PT Tirta Sari Surya. The audit was accompanied by the QA Team from the Head Office to ensure that the series of activities ran well. Various aspects were tested and assessed, including production planning, quality control, material management, and the implementation of quality management systems in every production line, both internally and externally.

Through good cooperation from all departments, the audit went well. Pirelli acknowledged PT Tirta Sari Surya's excellence in this audit, which successfully demonstrated outstanding compliance with audit evidence and conducted proactive discussions with transparency and responsiveness throughout the process. In addition, the workplace's cleanliness and tidiness, as well as compliance with EUDR regulations, were other points of excellence.

Pirelli also provided several ideas and suggestions for system development, which were positively appreciated by PT Tirta Sari Surya. Mr. Bambang, as a representative of the management, stated, “We can use these suggestions as an opportunity to continue improving and strengthening our internal capabilities towards an increasingly superior system through improvements in every department.”

This VDA audit concluded with excellent results, confirming that the systems and processes at PT Tirta Sari Surya are running effectively and consistently. This achievement is clear evidence that PT Tirta Sari Surya remains committed to delivering products and processes that meet international standards, while strengthening strategic partnerships with global buyers through superior and sustainable performance.
