PT Tirta Sari Surya successfully passed the re-audit conducted by the International Testing, Inspection, and Certification Agency, TÜV Rheinland, on Thursday (20/3). The audit conducted at the PT Tirta Sari Surya factory was also attended by the factory management and all department heads to ensure the audit process ran smoothly.

Mr. Adi Wijaya, as a representative of the factory management, gave a welcoming speech and explained the company profile to the auditor team. This audit was led by Mr. Purwanto, the lead auditor, and Mrs. Dewi Komalasari, the observer. In his explanation, Mr. Purwanto revealed that the main objective of this audit was to ensure the fulfillment of three important standards, namely ISO 9001:2015 related to the Quality Management System, SNI 1903:2017 concerning the quality requirements of natural rubber in the trade of the Indonesian Rubber Standard (SIR), and the latest regulation of the Minister of Trade Regulation Number 21 of 2023.

"This audit aims to ensure that PT Tirta Sari Surya is consistent in implementing its production process in accordance with the applicable SNI standards," said Mr. Purwanto. He emphasized the importance of consistency in the measurable production process, including the conformity of product quality to the process control and standards applied.

During the audit, the auditor team conducted field observations (genba) to assess the conformity of quality with the control plan, production process, and trade. As a result, the entire process can be proven and explained starting from production audits, internal audits, management reviews, witness tests, and laboratory audits. This shows PT Tirta Sari Surya's commitment to maintaining production quality.

In addition, the auditors appreciated several of the company's strengths, such as Michelin's buyer satisfaction level with an audit score of 80% and Goodyear's sustainability audit score exceeding 95%. Based on the audit results, the auditors stated that PT Tirta Sari Surya is eligible to receive an extension of the SNI SIR 10 and 20 certification.

With these results, PT Tirta Sari Surya reaffirms its commitment to maintaining and improving product quality and meeting established quality standards. The company will continue to maintain sustainability in every production process in order to increase customer satisfaction and trust.
