West Bangka, February 3, 2025 – In an effort to support the welfare of rubber farmers, Kirana Megatara, together with Bank BNI and the local government, held the Depo Telapak Tani 3 activity. This event took place in Air Belo Village, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency, on Monday (3/2). This activity is a form of multi-party collaboration that aims to strengthen the agricultural sector, especially the rubber industry in the West Bangka region. Depo Telapak Tani 3 is expected to become a more effective rubber management center and provide wider access for farmers in obtaining supporting facilities, including capital and technical assistance.

This event was attended by a number of important representatives, including Mr. Denny Setiawan from the Head Office, Mr. Frans Kurniawan as a representative from PT Kirana Musi Persada, and Mr. R. Wahyu Bintoro from Bank BNI. Also present were representatives from the Food Security and Agriculture Service of West Bangka Regency and the people of Air Belo Village, who enthusiastically welcomed this initiative. In his remarks, Mr. Denny Setiawan said that Kirana Megatara is committed to continuing to support rubber farmers in increasing their productivity and welfare. "We hope that the presence of Depo Telapak Tani 3 can provide real benefits for farmers, both in improving the quality of their harvest and in access to a wider market," he said.

Meanwhile, Mr. R. Wahyu Bintoro from Bank BNI emphasized the importance of capital support for farmers. "Through this program, we want to provide financial solutions that are more easily accessible to farmers so that they can develop their rubber businesses better," he said. Depo Telapak Tani 3 is expected to be a solution to the challenges faced by rubber farmers, ranging from access to markets and price stability to education in sustainable agricultural management. With support from various parties, the rubber farming sector in West Bangka is projected to continue to grow and have a positive impact on the regional economy.

This activity was closed with an interactive discussion between farmers and stakeholders, discussing various opportunities and challenges in the rubber industry. This collaboration is real proof that the synergy between companies, banks, and the government is able to provide concrete solutions in improving the welfare of farmers.
