Training on the Use of APAR for Employees at PT Kirana Musi Persada

On Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 09:00 WIB until finished, around 15 employees of PT Kirana Musi Persada from each representative of the relevant department (Engineering, Production, Quality Control, etc.) took part in a training agenda using APAR (Fire Extinguisher). The aim of this training is to train preparedness for the initial handling of fires in the work area. This training was carried out to increase competence in handling fires when conditions arise suddenly, so that the efforts made to extinguish the fire can be handled properly immediately.

Led by Mr. Rasyid (Head of Subsie Safety), who guides employees in the theory and practice of extinguishing fires. In the theory part, participants are given insight into the types of fires and how to handle them. Meanwhile, in the practical part, training participants are directed to carry out simulations, including fire extinguishing techniques using APAR.

This APAR (Light Fire Extinguisher) training was delivered directly by Mr. Rasyid (Head of Safety Sub-Section) with material regarding the types of APAR (Light Fire Extinguisher) available, namely APAR filled with powder and APAR filled with CO2 gas.

"It is hoped that by participating in this training, this competency will be improved; there will be insight for employees not to panic when a fire occurs, and employees will have the preparedness to involve themselves in the extinguishing and rescue process when needed." Said Mr. Juan Wijaya Marbun (Factory Manager) in his opening speech.
